Valentino & Son's Frequently Asked Questions FAQ's

FAQ'S - Frequently Asked Questions

What should the customer know about your pricing (discounts, fees)?

Every project is unique, so pricing can vary based on square footage, the materials you choose, and the type of build. Once I learn more about your goals and the scope of your project, I’ll prepare a clear, personalized estimate so you know exactly what to expect.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We prefer to meet with clients onsite so we can walk through the project together, discuss goals, and fully understand the scope of work. This allows us to provide a clear and accurate complimentary quote based on your specific needs. We also offer flexibility with materials — we can supply everything required for the job, or clients are welcome to provide their own if they have preferred products or wish to manage costs directly. Our aim is to make the process straightforward, transparent, and tailored to what works best for you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We are a family‑owned and operated business with more than 30 years of industry experience. Our long‑standing commitment to quality craftsmanship, reliable service, and strong customer relationships has allowed us to build a reputation for professionalism and integrity. As a family business, we take pride in treating every project with the same care and attention we would give our own home, ensuring clients receive dependable results and a personalized experience from start to finish.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We are a family‑owned business with more than 30 years of experience in the industry. Our company began as a small, family‑run operation built on hard work, honesty, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Over the years, we steadily grew by earning the trust of our clients and delivering reliable, consistent results. What started as a modest family venture has developed into a respected business known for professionalism, integrity, and a personalized approach to every project.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We provide services for both residential and commercial clients, offering a wide range of solutions tailored to projects of all sizes. Our experience includes everything from small repairs, Kitchen & Bath Remodeling and routine improvements to large‑scale builds, additions, and full project management. Over the years, we have worked with homeowners, business owners, property managers, Historical Societies and commercial facilities, delivering reliable workmanship and professional service across diverse project needs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We specialize in kitchen and bathroom remodeling, offering comprehensive services from design to completion. Our expertise allows us to deliver functional, modern, and beautifully finished spaces that meet the unique needs and preferences of every client.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When selecting a general contractor, it’s important to have them visit the project site so they can accurately assess the scope of work and provide a detailed, informed quote. For payment structure depending on the total cost of your project, we operate on a standard schedule of one‑third or 50% deposit for scheduling, Progress/partial completion Payments, and the remaining balance due upon final completion of the job. This process provides transparency, protects both parties, and supports steady progress throughout the project.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Customers should be aware that unforeseen damage or hidden conditions may be uncovered once the demolition process begins. Issues such as structural deterioration, water damage, outdated wiring, or compromised plumbing are often not visible until existing materials are removed. Any unexpected findings may require additional labor/Material and could result in added expenses. Valentino & Son's will not responsible for customers Product Delays, damage, Mfg. Defects or quality of the fixtures and products you choose. We make every effort to communicate these situations promptly, provide clear recommendations, and discuss all options WITH OUR CUSTOMERS.
